YBZ、YBZS系列用隔爆型三相异步电动机和YBZE、YBZSE系列起重用隔爆型电磁制动三相异步电动机（简称电动机）主要用于各种型式的防爆起重机械的电力驱动。具有较大的过载能力和较高的机械强度，因此它特别适用于那些短时或断续运转、频繁起动、制动的设备。YBZE、YBZSE系列电动机设有盘式制动器，使电机具有良好的制动效果。
