The basic duty type of eddy-current motor is S3, and the cyclic duration factor is 40%.The basic cyclic duration factor of turbine brake is 15%, each cycle is 10 minutes.

The eddy-current motor’s rated output, moment of inertia（Jm）,open-circuit rotor voltage for the basic duty type and the turbine brake’s rated brake torque ,limited brake torque, moment of inertia（Jm）, exciting voltage, exciting current are shown in table 3。
